Home care assistance is essential when dementia or Alzheimer’s has been diagnosed. All of our caregivers go through specialized dementia & Alzheimer’s training. Our Alzheimer’s care services are designed to provide compassionate assistance, support, and engagement to ensure each person maintains a high quality of life and remains connected with community, friends, and family.  Our caregivers have extensive knowledge and training how to take care for Alzheimer’s and dementia clients with grace and respect. Providing a friendly assistant to help with daily activities and ease loneliness can be invaluable in the well-being of an aging person. Our companion care services can include enjoyable recreational activities such as working on a puzzle together, going on a daily walk or reminiscing about days of old as well as meeting practical needs.

  • Meal Assistance - Eating a healthy, balanced diet is key for overall health. We can prepare nutritious meals that meet your loved one’s dietary needs and restrictions. We can also provide feeding assistance as needed.

  • Transportation & Errands - We know how important it is to have the ability to go where and when you want instead of being on your family’s schedule. All of our caregivers drive and can take seniors anywhere from doctor appointments, to the salon, shopping or even to visit with friends.

  • Chores Housekeeping and chores can become difficult as a person ages or loses mobility. Our caregivers are happy to take care of a variety of chores around the home, including:

  • Light housekeeping

  • Exercise Assistance - Exercise and physical activity are good for just about everyone, including seniors. Our caregivers assist with four main types of activity: endurance, strength, balance & flexibility, all of which help improve balance and prevent falls.

Chronic Diseases

CareWorks Health Services can help you or a loved one manage a chronic condition such as diabetes, congestive heart failure or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Our goal is to help you stay compliant with your care team’s individualized treatment plan, encourage self-management skills by assisting with healthy food and exercise choices, and providing encouragement to change unhealthy behaviors.
